At Filtrex we use energy efficient negative pressure separation systems wherever possible, such as the HP PMA Rotary screen separator. This minimises the need for low efficiency (55%) chopper fans and allows us to use high efficiency fans (90%) in their place. It also allows us to control the air volume by using invertors on the fans. This combined with intelligent duct design and control systems can reduce running costs by 60% over a conventional system.
