Filtrex are proud to be involved in the Moyderwell project in Deans Lane, Tralee. This project provides district heating of 1,000kW heat for over 40 apartments, a convent and a library with a state of the art biomass boiler system. The boilers are fed by wood chips stored in a bunker adjacent to the boiler room. The amount of heat used in measured my a heat meter and the users are only billed for the kWh they use. | Brendan Lynch of Filtrex with Minister for the Environment, John Gormley, at the grand opening of the Deans Lane project for Tralee Town Council. The project consisted on 2 X Herz biomass boilers outputting 1,000kW of heat for district heating fuelled by locally sourced wood chips.
